Going into a Lush shop in itself is an overwhelming process. It is bright and beautiful, with a huge variety of smells and interesting products to choose from. It can be incredibly confusing, not knowing what’s good for your skin or which smell is coming from where. But, having been in there a number of times, I have a fair bit of experience to go on.
This time, I chose to go for a bubble bar (I have to limit myself each time I go in, or else I end up practically buying the whole shop), and I am so glad that I did. After weighing up my options, aka manhandling all of the products, which is the only way to find what you like, I was drawn to “The Comforter” (from which a chunk is missing, by the way):
This bubble bar has a fruity, berry scent with ingredients including: Bergamot oil (uplifting and cleansing); Cassis absolute (comforting and fruity); Cypress oil (calming and toning); Linalool and limonene (naturally occurring oils) amongst a variety of natural ingredients. All of these make for a truly delicious product.
It was moisturising, calming and turned the bathwater a beautiful bright pink with (these photos do not do it justice):
At £4.75 and with two uses, this is a really great product and, what I would deem, value for money. Even now, I can smell the rich, berry smell. If you try it out, or have already tried it, let me know, I would love to hear what you think.
Have a great day.
