Picture Perfect Monday #9

This is something a little different. It is a plain, bog-standard mask, stuck onto a cardboard base, sponged with acrylic, then draped with muslin cloth. To prepare the fabric, I soaked it in watered-down PVA glue before placing it onto the mask in a way I found appealing. After that I let it set and painted it with brusho ink to get the really vibrant colours. In the end, I think it turned out looking quite effective.

So today’s image is, what I see as, fabric underwater, in the media of muslin, brusho ink and acrylic paint, on a roughly A3 sheet of cardboard. Enjoy.

Have a great day.
