Sorry I’m a day late (fittling, isn’t it?), but the internet went down which was… fun. In any case, here’s the post I was meant to put up yesterday. Enjoy.
Applying to colleges should be at the forefront of my mind right now, what with the deadlines around late December/ early January, but I just can’t seem to remember to do it. Well, that and I really can’t be bothered.
It’s not that I can’t, but I just don’t want to go through the process of applying and getting references and writing personal statements and doing interviews and UGH. I’m just really lazy when it comes to jumping through hoops.
I really can’t wait to go to college and do the subjects that I’m really passionate about, which, by the way, are:
- Art and Design/ Fine Art
- English Literature
- Geography/ Geology
- Classic Civilisations/ Psychology
That’s the exciting part. Growing up, making choices and doing what I want to do. But getting there just doesn’t interest me.
Honestly, I need a kick up the backside. I’m really lazy. And I know this, but I struggle to find the motivation to actually get up and do what need’s to be done. It’s my worst flaw and I absolutely despise it.
So, yeah. Any advice? I could actually really use some on how to get myself motivated to do things I don’t want to do, because I procrastinate until it’s too late, which is SO annoying.
Have a great day.
